She finds inspiration from her past and present environments, whether it’s classic neo traditional design inspired by her childhood growing up on a Civil War Colonel’s colonial estate, or adding touches of modern accents to a collection of carefully curated heirlooms and antiques. To Emily, design rules are meant to be broken and played with because spaces should feel natural and collected, not overly decorated. They should always feel dynamic and alive to match the people who live in them.
